Le problematiche derivanti dalla realizzazione e dalla gestione dei
sistemi di raccolta e smaltimento delle acque reflue sono in buona parte
legate alle limitazioni tecnico-funzionali delle tecnologie costruttive
tradizionali. Tali fattori hanno generato la necessità di sviluppare
tecnologie innovative basate proprio sulla risoluzione di tali criticità
al fine di progettare e costruire impianti caratterizzati da livelli di
efficienza che ne permettano la corretta gestione economica in linea
con le esigenze fondamentali per la tutela della risorsa idrica e
dell’ambiente.

Water is the lifeblood of the world and never more so than in Montréal, Canada, where 4,500 water professionals will gather in September 2010 for the International Water Association (IWA) World Water Congress and Exhibition.
The key topics to be discussed at this event are:

• water, ecosystems and catchments

The IWA World Water Congress and Exhibition is a high-profile biennial event that in previous years has been held in Vienna, Beijing, Marrakech, Melbourne, Berlin and Paris. In 2010, the Association is partnering with the Canadian Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) and the Canadian Association on Water Quality (CAWQ) to hold the event in Montréal.
